Delete Your Account

Instructions for deleting your DateWise account and all associated data.

We're sorry to see you go. If you'd like to delete your DateWise account and all associated data, follow the instructions below. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Warning: Account deletion is permanent

Once your account is deleted, all your data — including your profile, analysis history, purchased Sparks (unused credits), and subscription — will be permanently removed. This action cannot be reversed.

Method 1: Delete In-App (Recommended)

    Open the DateWise app on your device.

  2. 2

    Navigate to the Settings tab (bottom navigation bar).

  3. 3

    Tap on "Account" in the settings menu.

  4. 4

    Scroll down and tap "Delete Account".

  5. 5

    Read the confirmation dialog carefully and tap "Confirm Delete" to permanently delete your account.

Method 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

    Send an email to support@datewise.app

  2. 2

    Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"

  3. 3

    Include the email address associated with your DateWise account

  4. 4

    We will process your request within 5 business days and send you a confirmation

What Happens to Your Data

After your deletion request is confirmed:

  • Your account and profile information will be immediately deactivated.

  • All personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

  • Purchase records may be retained for up to 7 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

  • Anonymized, aggregated usage data that cannot be linked to you may be retained for service improvement.
